Consultant information

I am a Registered Clinical Social Worker and worked in rural mental health clinic (i.e., Alberta Health Services) for 33 years serving children, teens, adults, and seniors. As a result, I have a strong background in using EMDR to treat mental health conditions (PTSD, anxiety, OCD, phobias, eating disorders, physical/emotional/sexual abuse, dissociative disorders etc.). I also have used EMDR to assist in treating day-to-day issues like workplace stress, professional burn out, workplace bullying,  grief/loss, parenting struggles and issues related to farming (farm foreclosure, workplace accident or death, crop failure, sale of the family homestead, transition of family farm from one generation to the next). I currently work in private practice where I serve adults with a wide variety of presenting problems. I am have a passionate interest in providing high quality clinical services in rural or remote locations.

I am currently licensed to provide consultation in Alberta, Newfoundland and the Yukon.

Consultations are done virtually by Zoom.

Consultant Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Fee: $33 Per Hour

No Show Fee: $33 Per Hour

Cancellations are considered “late” when the participant does not cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled consultation session. A participant is considered a “no-show” when they are absent to the consultation session without prior notice.

Participants who are recorded as a late cancellation or a no-show may be charged a fee of $48 CAD/per hour by the consultant, which is to be paid directly to the consultant.

By default, EMDR Consulting’s consultation scheduling system marks participants as a late cancellation if they cancel after the 24-hour cancellation window.
